These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you ("User", "you") and Ana Maria Albarca Becerra, an individual software developer based in Spain ("Developer", "we", "us"), regarding your use of the iOS mobile application Cyber Prep ("App", "Service").
By downloading the App from the Apple App Store, installing it on your device, or clicking "Agree" during onboarding, you confirm that:
These Terms incorporate Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) by reference. In the event of conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, these Terms govern to the extent permitted by Apple.
Cyber Prep is an iOS exam-preparation application providing:
The Service is provided "as is" for educational preparation purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable subscription fee, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

Prices may vary in other currencies and jurisdictions depending on Apple's pricing tiers and applicable taxes. The final price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase is the authoritative price.
All payments are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or process your payment card details. Apple acts as the merchant of record. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Apple's Terms and Conditions.
Cyber Prep may offer a limited free tier allowing access to a subset of questions and features without a subscription. The scope of the free tier is determined by us at our discretion and may change at any time. Free-tier users are subject to these Terms in full.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
To cancel: Open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Cyber Prep → Cancel Subscription. Alternatively, use the "Manage Subscription" button within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access until that date.
The Lifetime plan is a one-time, non-consumable purchase granting perpetual Pro access for as long as the App is available on the App Store. We commit to maintaining the App for a minimum of 24 months from the date of a Lifetime purchase. If the App is discontinued within that period, we will endeavour to provide a pro-rata refund.
All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot process refunds directly — Apple is the merchant of record.
EU/EEA consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU): See §12 below.
We may change subscription prices. Apple will notify you in advance of any price increase before your subscription renews. Continuing your subscription after a notified price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
All content in Cyber Prep — including but not limited to exam questions, explanations, rationales, domain structures, source code, UI design, logos, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Ana Maria Albarca Becerra and is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Questions were generated with AI assistance and reviewed by the Developer. While questions may draw on publicly available exam syllabi, domain descriptions, and educational concepts, the specific question texts, answer choices, and explanations are original works of the Developer.
Your licence to use the App does not transfer any ownership of intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content in the App without our prior written permission.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to terminate your access without refund if we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that you have violated these prohibitions.
Important: Cyber Prep is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any certification body, including but not limited to: ISC² (CISSP, CCSP, CCISO), ISACA (CISM, CISA), EC-Council (CEH), CompTIA (Security+), Project Management Institute (PMP), PeopleCert / AXELOS (ITIL 4), Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, or Google.
Exam questions in Cyber Prep are original practice questions created by the Developer based on publicly available exam syllabi and domain outlines. They are not actual past exam questions and may not reflect the current format, difficulty, or content of any official certification examination.
We make no guarantee or representation that use of this App will result in passing any certification examination. Exam outcomes depend on many factors beyond preparation with a single tool. You remain solely responsible for your own examination preparation and results.
Certification names, trademarks, and logos referenced in the App are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive and educational identification purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
EU/UK consumers: Statutory warranties under applicable consumer law (including the EU Sale of Goods Directive and UK Consumer Rights Act) are not excluded. The above exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for:
Where liability cannot be fully excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for: death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law (including EU consumer protection law).
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have certain statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract.
Under EU consumer law, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract for digital content, without giving reasons. However, this right is forfeited once digital content has begun to be delivered and you have expressly consented to the immediate delivery and acknowledged that you will lose your withdrawal right.
When you purchase a Cyber Prep subscription or Lifetime access, the App is immediately made available to you. By completing the purchase, you expressly request that delivery begin immediately and acknowledge that you thereby waive your statutory right of withdrawal, as permitted by Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
This waiver does not affect your right to request a refund from Apple for technical failures or mis-sold content. Refund requests are processed via Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We warrant that Cyber Prep conforms to its description and is fit for purpose as an exam-preparation tool, in accordance with the EU Digital Content Directive (Directive 2019/770/EU). If you experience a material lack of conformity, contact us at gh@sanjemi.com within a reasonable time and we will endeavour to resolve the issue.
The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for resolving disputes between consumers and online traders at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our contact email for ODR purposes: gh@sanjemi.com.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For disputes arising from the use of the App:
We genuinely want to resolve any issue you have with Cyber Prep. Before initiating formal proceedings, please contact us at gh@sanjemi.com and give us a reasonable opportunity (at least 30 days) to address your concern.
For EU consumers: In addition to the ODR platform (§12), you may contact your national consumer protection body. In Spain, contact the Ministerio de Consumo or your regional consumer arbitration board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo).
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will provide notice via the App (e.g., an in-app prompt) and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, at least 15 days before the revised Terms take effect.
For EU consumers, material changes to subscription terms will require your affirmative acceptance before renewal. Continued use of the App after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
