How do I restore my Pro subscription on a new device?

Go to Profile > Subscription and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

How do I change my target certification?

Tap the certification name in the top-right corner of the Dashboard, Practice, or Analytics tabs. You can switch between all 11 supported certifications at any time.

How does the adaptive engine work?

Cyber Prep uses Item Response Theory (IRT 3PL) to estimate your ability level (theta) in real time. Each question has calibrated difficulty, discrimination, and guessing parameters. The engine selects questions that maximize information at your current level, so you always practice at the right difficulty.

What does "Pass Probability" mean?

It's a statistical estimate of your likelihood of passing the real exam, based on your current theta score mapped to the certification's passing threshold and scoring scale. It updates after every question.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. All your study data, progress, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to external servers. If you uninstall the app, your data is permanently deleted.

How do I delete all my data?

Go to Profile and scroll to the bottom. Tap Delete all data. This permanently erases all progress, sessions, and preferences. You'll be taken back to the onboarding screen.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, find Cyber Prep, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
